Diving for Returners and Newcomers

Diving beginners or divers who have not been in the water for a long time will find ideal conditions at James & Mac.
In contrast to many other bases, we offer introduction tours. These trips start later than a regular full-day trip (departure at 10:00 a.m.) and include two easy dives. This means that every diver who wants to "feel their way around" (again) has the opportunity to dive in at their leisure.
Our jetty is in immediate vicinity of the diving center. It is located directly on the beach of the hotel and from here all our dive trips depart.
Several boats are in operation during the day. This gives us the opportunity to take the experience level of our guests into account when planning our trips. This is particularly appreciated by our diving guests. In contrast to most other diving centers, we can plan our boats individually according to the level of experience and preferences of our guests, so that divers with a similar level of experience are usually together on one boat.
We offer the "pool check" as an ideal re-entry for divers who have taken a longer break from diving or have very little diving experience. This is a "re-entry" into diving during a dive from the beach. In shallow water, you repeat some basic exercises with a professional and get used to handling the diving equipment and its functions again. This short dive is usually done in the morning.
